WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 24, 2020) — The National Wildlife Federation Action Fund has endorsed Arizona U.S. Senate candidate Mark Kelly, citing his support for climate solutions, wildlife conservation, restoring and protecting our public lands, and addressing the environmental injustices facing Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities.
“Mark has seen the impacts of climate change from Earth’s orbit and up close in Arizona — and understands not only the problems facing everyday Americans but also the need for equally big solutions. He has laid out a clear vision for not only confronting the effects of climate change — from massive wildfires to record droughts and heatwaves — but also how to create jobs, lift up Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities, recover wildlife, reassert America’s leadership in the world, and revitalize our public lands,” said Collin O’Mara, president and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation Action Fund. “The National Wildlife Federation Action Fund is proud to endorse Mark Kelly’s election to the U.S. Senate and his dedication to bipartisan problem-solving.”
