(August 12, 2019) — The National Wildlife Federation Action Fund has endorsed North Carolina congressional candidate, veteran and entrepreneur Dan McCready for his dedication to protecting America’s wildlife, clean drinking water and energy security for future generations. McCready, who is running in the special election for North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District, also has been an unwavering advocate for common-sense climate solutions and renewable energy.

“As a veteran and advocate for common-sense conservation, Dan McCready understands that energy security is national security. McCready, a Marine veteran, also is a clean-energy entrepreneur, having started a solar-energy company in Charlotte that employs hundreds of North Carolinians. He also is the founder of a retail company dedicated to supporting American workers and made-in-America products.
