“Between a rapidly changing climate and a hostile political environment in Washington, it’s more important than ever to have strong leaders at the state level who will take bold action to preserve our natural resources,” said Sally Ranney, a leading conservation and environmental advocate in Colorado and Special Advisor to the National Wildlife Federation Action Fund. “Jared Polis is the leader we need here in Colorado. He understands the breadth and depth of the issues which is backed by hands-on- experience, and offers innovative solutions. He will protect our precious water, and put us on the path to 100% renewables by 2040 which is important to our economy and to addressing the impacts of climate change Jared Polis has a long and impressive record of fighting for Colorado’s natural landscapes and wildlife. I’m ready to help make his bold vision for Colorado’s future a reality.
“It is a real honor to have the endorsement of one of the most important conservation organizations in Colorado,” Jared Polis stated.“Our magnificent outdoor spaces and wildlife are a vital part of what makes Colorado, Colorado. I know that if we lead the way with bold action, we can preserve our iconic wildlife and its habitat and protect the extraordinary wild places that help power our economy and our special Colorado way of life.”
