Speak Out for Wetlands and Wood Ducks

Wood Duck

Wetlands—marshes, bogs, and swamps—provide essential habitat for fish, waterfowl like the wood duck, and other wildlife, and one-third of threatened or endangered species depend on these crucial waters for survival. In addition to providing habitat, wetlands also filter water and absorb and manage floodwaters, protecting communities from flooding and recharging groundwater and drinking water supplies.

But due to a recent rollback in protections, our wetlands are at a greater risk of pollution and destruction than ever before. Please speak out.

Tell your governor and members of Congress it is urgent to support efforts to restore and protect wetlands and water habitats. Please personalize your message to tell them why it is important to you.
